Covid-19 Safeguards
First, and most importantly, we at the Dodic Real Estate Team would like to extend our best wishes for the health, safety and well-being of you and your families in these challenging times. We recognize that we are all in this together and are diligently working to do our part to minimize opportunities for transmission of the virus.
The Ontario Government, on March 23, 2020, released its List of Essential Workplaces. This list recognizes real estate as an essential service. As such, we will continue to actively service our clients while following the guidelines and mandates provided to us by all levels of government to ensure the safety of our clients and all parties needed to complete a successful real estate transaction.
While we continue to provide the high standards of service that our sellers, buyers and investors have come to expect from us, we are strictly following the expert direction of health authorities and have taken measures to prioritize and protect the health, safety and well-being of our clients, agents, employees, partners and communities.
We have adopted strategies that promote social distancing and are enforcing new rules and guidelines across our business that are focused on virtual, digital and paperless solutions that reduce direct physical interaction during real estate transactions, significantly reducing the risk of transmission.
DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS
Our day to day operations are fully digitally-enabled. Our brokerage head office employees are already working remotely and all of our brokerage operations are currently paperless -including listing paperwork, sale and rental agreements, and more.
SALES TEAM PROTOCAL
Our agents are practicing social distancing and following guidelines to protect everyone’s health. They are encouraged to conduct all client meetings virtually, whether that’s speaking with you to learn more about your real estate goals, or to organize virtual tours of properties.
SHOWINGS
We are actively managing property showings and appointments and have created new standards for agents when showing a home. We will encourage showings electronically to buyers and their agents who wish to see the property in more detail.
LISTINGS
We are continuing to prepare listings to go to market. Our partners – our stagers, photographers and other service partners are working with added protocols to ensure safety standards and minimize the amount of time they are in your home. All listing paperwork can be signed electronically.
OPEN HOUSES
Following the recommendations of The Real Estate Council of Ontario, we have suspended all open houses until further notice and will work with buyers and agents to do Open Houses electronically, when appropriate.
OFFERS AND PAPER WORK
All documents and offers can be signed from your home using DocuSign electronic signature software.
CLIENT APPOINTMENTS & CONSULTATIONS
If you prefer an in-person meeting and are comfortable with our new health and safety standards, we are available to meet.
