Top 5 Brunch Places In Mississauga

Mississauga has so many great brunch restaurants throughout the city. Here’s Insauga.com’s recommended Top 5 Brunch Places in Mississauga.

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I concur — especially weekend brunch. Brunch offers more than just the standard every day breakfast fare that typically serves to simply satisfy your morning hunger or take care of that hangover.

Brunch is about the experience. It’s a meal you tend to savour, enjoy with others and it’s something to look forward to on the weekends.

Here are the Top 5 brunch spots in Mississauga:

5 – Daylight Grill

Located in a plaza on the south-west corner of Southdown and Winston Churchill is a one off non-franchise place called Daylight Grill. This place is open from 6am to 3pm daily so you know this place specializes in breakfast. We ordered the BIG breakfast special that came with sausage, bacon, peameal bacon, 3 eggs, pancakes, toast and hone fries. The service is super friendly and we had left overs!

Price Range: $7.95 to $14.95
Daily: 7am to 4pm

4 – Union Social Eatery

Union Social Eatery is a casual restaurant located in a plaza in the business park area along Derry Rd, bordering Brampton which caters to the local businesses as well diners who happen to have come across this local spot while driving by. It is a restaurant in Mississauga that doesn’t have the benefits of being located in an area with walking traffic, which is a shame if you haven’t tried it out. Union Social Eatery originated in Mississauga and has since expanded with their second location in Toronto. The menu is fun, the dishes creative and it offers something for everyone.

Price Range: $12.95 to $16.95

Breakfast Burger – A scrambled egg tops slices of pancetta, and garnished with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sweet onions and a pepper relish and served with crispy smashed potatoes.

The Sunday brunch is an elaborate brunch buffet that runs from 11 am to 2 pm. You can dine on the items from the chef-manned carving station as well as homemade soups, roasted vegetables, the feature entree, staple breakfast items including bacon & sausage, Belgian waffles, a selection of smoked fish and seafood, salads, a variety of cheese, French pastries and desserts.

There are five rooms with amazing views of the estate grounds and a ravine that lines the back of the property. On Sunday, you can feast in The Sun room, Grand Sun Room, Oak Room, Credit Valley Room, and Evan Room — all of which can be booked for private functions. Reservations are recommended, and you can request which room you’d like to have brunch in provided it is not being used for a private function.

02 – Breakwater Restaurant

The Breakwater Restaurant is located in the Waterside Inn, a boutique hotel situated in the south side of Mississauga in Port Credit. The airy and expansive dining room is a gorgeous space with high ceilings and majestic decor that pays homage to traditional fine dining and most certainly adds to the experience of Sunday brunch. There is a chef-manned carvery serving hand-carved prime cuts of meat, an omelette and waffle station, a hot lunch table, an antipasto bar and a dessert and pastry table. This takes Sunday brunch to the next level.
